Welcome to VM Speech and Language Therapy, based near Brighouse.
My name is Victoria Moorhouse and I am an experienced Speech and Language Therapist (SLT) with over 13 years experience.
Alongside my independent practice, I also work in the NHS and have worked here for over 11 years.
I support children and young people aged 2–18 across a variety of settings — including their homes, clinics, nurseries, mainstream primary and secondary schools, and specialist resource provisions.
Prior to working in the NHS I worked as a Speech and Language Therapist for an independent practice and also for a charity.
I am passionate about delivering therapy that is both effective and enjoyable. My approach is evidence-based and family-centred, ensuring that each child’s unique strengths as well as their challenges, are at the heart of every session.
I work closely with families, educators and other professionals to create supportive environments where communication skills can develop and make a meaningful difference in each child and young person's life.
My aim is to help your child to communicate with confidence.
