About Me
Welcome to VM Speech and Language Therapy, based near Brighouse.
My name is Victoria Moorhouse and I am an experienced Speech and Language Therapist (SLT) with over 12 years experience. Alongside my independent practice, I also work in the NHS and have worked here for over 10 years. Testimonials
"I approached Victoria when I realised how long the NHS wait was for speech and language therapy and I didnt want my son to miss out.
Before he visit I had filled out the family history so when she arrived she had a box full of tricks to try and keep my son focused.
He engaged well with her straight away and enjoyed all the tasks she gave him. I dont think he realised it was even an assessment! She visited us twice to complete the assessment as my son has a limited attention span. The second time he was really excited to see her.
I asked for the detailed report so that I could give it into school and this was completed in a very quick time frame. When reading the report it all made sense and she had been able to pick up on all the small things as well as little things I had said too. The report has some great recommendations to work on and I will be sending the report into school for them to help too.
I highly recommend Victoria, she was kind, patient and great with my son. She was also quick and efficient with the professional side of things.
My son has asked if she can come and play every week and I cant wait to see the progress he makes!" Vicky, parent.
"Victoria is an exceptional Speech and Language Therapist. Her warm and encouraging manner helps children feel at ease and her sessions are always engaging, well structured and tailored to each child's needs." A primary school SENCO.
